Tradix Terms of Service
Last updated October 25, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Tradix Technologies Inc ("Tradix", "we", "us"), the operator of the Tradix app at app.tradix.cc, the website at tradix.cc, the Tradix Discord bot and any related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Tradix is not financial advice
1.1 Tradix is a software tool for practising, recording and reviewing trading. It provides backtesting on historical market data, a trading journal, analytics, strategy tools, an economic calendar and educational material.
1.2 Nothing in the Service is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, futures contract or other instrument, or an offer or solicitation of any kind. We are not a broker, investment adviser, commodity trading advisor or fiduciary, and we do not execute trades or hold funds for you.
1.3 Trading futures and other leveraged products involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. You can lose more than you deposit. Only trade with money you can afford to lose. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions.
1.4 HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE. Backtest, replay and simulated results have inherent limitations. They are prepared with the benefit of hindsight, do not involve real money, and do not account for all real-world factors such as liquidity, slippage, emotions and execution. No representation is made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown. Past performance, real or simulated, does not guarantee future results.
1.5 ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND NO RELIANCE. You alone decide whether, what and how to trade. You agree that you will not rely on the Service, any data, statistic, rule check, template, confluence, educational material, community content or anything said by Tradix staff as a reason to make or avoid any trade or investment, and that you will do your own research and, where appropriate, consult a licensed professional. You accept all risk of loss from your trading.
1.6 Simulated prop-firm evaluations in Tradix are practice tools. They are not affiliated with, endorsed by or a substitute for any real proprietary trading firm, and passing one in Tradix does not qualify you for anything outside Tradix. Firm names and rules are shown for practice only and may not match a firm's current terms.
1.7 THIRD-PARTY NAMES. Names of exchanges, contracts, proprietary trading firms, brokers, platforms and other companies appear in the Service only to describe what the Service simulates or works with. They are the trademarks of their owners, and their use does not mean any affiliation with, sponsorship by or endorsement of Tradix.
2. Eligibility and accounts
2.1 You must be at least 18 years old, and of legal age to form a binding contract where you live, to use the Service. We ask for your date of birth to confirm this.
2.2 You must give accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure, and tell us promptly about any unauthorised use of your account. You are responsible for everything done through your account. We recommend turning on two-factor authentication.
2.3 One person per account. You may not share, sell or transfer your account.
3. Plans, billing and cancellation
3.1 Tradix offers a free plan and paid subscriptions ("Plans"). What each Plan includes is shown on our pricing page and in the app, and may change over time as described in section 3.8.
3.2 Paid Plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing you authorise us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method at the start of each billing period until you cancel. Prices are shown before you pay, in US dollars unless stated otherwise, and may exclude taxes (such as GST/HST or sales tax), which are added where required.
3.3 AUTOMATIC RENEWAL. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price for your Plan unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time in Settings > Membership.
3.4 When you cancel, you keep your Plan until the end of the period you have already paid for, then move to the free plan. Your journal and data are not deleted because you cancel.
3.5 REFUNDS. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not give refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused features or periods when you did not use the Service. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us through in-app support within 30 days and we will review it. Nothing in these Terms limits any right to a refund or cancellation that you have under the consumer laws where you live.
3.6 SALES, CODES AND FREE ACCESS. We may offer sales, discount codes, referral discounts or periods of free access. Each applies only on the terms stated when it is offered (for example, to the first payment only), cannot be combined unless we say so, has no cash value, and may end at any time. A sale or discount does not change the price of existing subscriptions unless stated.
3.7 Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated by Stripe. Downgrades and plan changes may be prorated as shown at the time of the change.
3.8 We may change Plan prices or features. Price increases for an existing subscription take effect at your next renewal after we have given you reasonable notice, and you may cancel before then. Members who subscribed at an earlier price may keep that price for as long as their subscription stays active, if we say so at the time.
3.9 If a payment fails, we may retry it, and we may suspend or downgrade your Plan until it succeeds.
4. Market data and content we provide
4.1 Historical market data, economic calendar data, educational content, indicators, templates, premade confluences and other material we provide ("Tradix Content") are for your personal, non-commercial use inside the Service only.
4.2 You may not copy, download in bulk, scrape, redistribute, resell or publish market data from the Service, or use it to build a competing product or dataset. Market data may be delayed, incomplete or contain errors, and may be subject to third-party licence terms.
4.3 Economic calendar dates are taken from the published schedules of government agencies and other sources and may change without notice. Check the original source before relying on any date or time.
5. Your content
5.1 You keep ownership of what you put into the Service: trades, journal entries, notes, screenshots, drawings, strategies, scripts and other material ("Your Content").
5.2 You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process and display Your Content only as needed to run, secure and improve the Service for you, and to post it where you ask us to (for example, to a Discord server you connect). This licence ends when Your Content is deleted from the Service, except for copies kept in backups for a limited time or as required by law.
5.3 You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to use it. Do not upload anything illegal, infringing, harmful or that contains other people's personal information without their permission.
5.4 Some features let you share Your Content with others (for example, Discord posts or shared strategies). Content you share may be seen, copied and kept by the people you share it with, and we cannot undo that.
5.5 If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break any law or regulation, or use the Service to defraud or mislead anyone;
- misrepresent simulated or backtest results as real trading results, or use the Service to sell signals, courses or performance claims based on hypothetical results without clear disclosure;
- access or try to access accounts, data or systems you are not allowed to, or get around plan limits, payment, security or rate limits;
- reverse engineer, decompile or copy the Service, except where the law allows despite this restriction;
- scrape, crawl, bulk-export or automate access to the Service except through features or APIs we provide for that purpose and within their limits;
- interfere with or overload the Service, or run load, security or penetration tests without our written permission;
- upload malware or harmful code, or use custom scripts to attack the Service or other users;
- harass, abuse or impersonate others, including in support conversations or through the Discord bot;
- resell, sublicense or share access to the Service.
7. Third-party services
The Service works with third-party services such as Stripe (payments), Discord (posting and sign-in) and Google (sign-in). Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, and they may change or stop working with the Service at any time.
8. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, names, logos and Tradix Content, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, we give you no rights in it. "Tradix" and our logos may not be used without our permission.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and accurate but do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free or always available. We may add, change or remove features, and may suspend the Service for maintenance. Features marked as beta, preview or not yet released may change or be withdrawn at any time. Keep your own copies of anything important; you can export your data from the app.
10. Suspension and termination
10.1 You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time through in-app support.
10.2 We may suspend or close your account, or limit access to features, if you break these Terms, if your use creates risk or legal exposure for us or others, if required by law, or if your account has been inactive for a long period after we have tried to contact you. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to export your data.
10.3 If we close your account for a reason other than your breach of these Terms, we will refund any prepaid fees for the unused part of your billing period.
10.4 Sections 1, 4, 5.5, 8, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 17 continue after your account ends.
11. Disclaimers
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY AND QUIET ENJOYMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT MARKET DATA, CALCULATIONS, ANALYTICS, SIMULATED FILLS, RULE CHECKS OR CALENDAR DATES ARE ACCURATE, COMPLETE OR TIMELY. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
12. Limitation of liability
12.1 TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, TRADING LOSSES, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN TOLD SUCH DAMAGES ARE POSSIBLE.
12.2 WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS FROM TRADING OR INVESTMENT DECISIONS YOU MAKE, WHETHER OR NOT THEY WERE INFORMED BY THE SERVICE.
12.3 TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM AND (B) US$100.
12.4 Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranties to be excluded or liability to be limited, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
13. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your misuse of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.
14. Disputes and governing law
14.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. Subject to section 14.3, the courts located in Toronto, Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service, and you and we submit to their jurisdiction.
14.2 Before starting any formal dispute, contact us through in-app support or at ceo@tradix.cc so we can try to resolve it informally. Most concerns can be sorted out this way.
14.3 If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the province, state or country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts where those laws allow. Sections 14.4 and 14.5 do not apply to you to the extent those laws forbid them (for example, Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, 2002 and Quebec's Consumer Protection Act).
14.4 CLASS ACTION AND JURY TRIAL WAIVER. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you and we agree that any dispute will be brought only on an individual basis, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated or representative proceeding, and that each of us waives any right to a trial by jury. If this section is found unenforceable for a dispute, it does not apply to that dispute, and the rest of these Terms still does.
14.5 TIME LIMIT. To the extent permitted by law, any claim relating to the Service or these Terms must be brought within one (1) year after the claim arose, or it is permanently barred.
15. Electronic communications, copyright and export
15.1 You agree to receive notices, agreements and other communications from us electronically, in the app or by email, and that these satisfy any legal requirement that they be in writing.
15.2 If you believe content in the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to ceo@tradix.cc identifying the work, the material and where it appears, your contact details, a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorised, and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner. We may remove material and close the accounts of repeat infringers.
15.3 You may not use the Service if you are located in, or are a resident or national of, a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions, or if you are on a government list of prohibited or restricted parties, and you will comply with all applicable export control and sanctions laws.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will tell you in the app, and you will be asked to accept the new version before you continue to use the Service. If you do not agree, you can cancel and stop using the Service. The version and date at the top show which Terms apply.
17. General
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any terms shown at checkout, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Notices to you may be given in the app or by email.
